GUIDELINE

We invite participants to submit an Extended Abstract of their innovative projects for inclusion in the official 2025 FBM-SIIC book, which will be published with an eISBN. This will provide a platform to share your work with a broader audience. The extended abstract should align with the format outlined in this document and will be an essential part of the competition's final publication.

1. Submission Guidelines:

Length: The extended abstract must be between 3 to 5 pages. This includes all content such as text, figures, tables, and references.
Template: Please follow the provided Word document template below for formatting and layout. The template has been specifically designed for consistency across all submissions.

2. Submission Process:

Deadline: The final submission deadline is 25 April 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Submission Portal: All extended abstracts must be submitted via the Google Form provided.

3. Proofreading and Quality Assurance:

Proofreading: We highly recommend that you carefully proofread your extended abstract before submitting it. Errors in spelling, grammar, or formatting may affect the quality of your submission.

4. Copyright and Publication:

By submitting your extended abstract, you agree to have your work published as part of the 2025 FBM-SIIC book, which will be distributed digitally with an eISBN.
Copyright: All authors will retain copyright over their work. By submitting, you grant permission for your work to be included in the official publication and made available through digital platforms.

Guidelines for UiTM Staff to Register a Publication on PRIMe (NEW!)

Navigate to PRIMe
- Select New Publication > Other Publication.
Perform Similarity Check
- In the Similarity Check section, enter the title of your article/paper under "Please enter your new Publication Title."
- Click Check Similarity.
Proceed with Registration
- If the results show "Your publication title has 0.00% similarity with existing records and may proceed to register," click the Proceed button.
Select Publication Category
- Under Category of Publication, choose EXHIBITION.
Enter Publication Details
- Fill in all the required publication details accurately.
- Click Save/Submit to complete the registration.
